There is climbing around Spencer, off popran rd. Python wall has around 30 good sport climbs up to grade 27, gets the sun in the afternoon. Further down the road is the Leech Bar, on the left down the end of Popran Rd. Has some good trad climbs and a few long sport routes.

There is also some climbing at spencer itself up the hill just before the houses.
Also some more good sport climbs at Deliverance http://www.thecrag.com/area/11770477

Have a few beers at the pub. I rarely suggest drinking gin and tonic but the quinine could be of benefit. Eat devil wings next door. Jump on the punt and head towards trailer park world in the swamp. Take aerogard/DDT. Leech bar can live up to its name. Don't pinch my taged routes. I have avoided speaking to people around there. Scarey

Click on the map to see where the crag is - then find the fireroad directly above it - follow that road back west until you get to Canoelands or whatever the National Parks carpark place that is not near the water is called. You ride from there.

Kev and I last year found a crag on the road that heads towards Deliverance area along the river but so far have never gone back to develop it as its north facing so strickly winter crag....mostly face not steep though....but the rock looked good around 15m from memory.....there is a shit load of rock around there...problem is access....with it being on private property or Nat park.
Adrian and his mate were developing things out that way on other side of the river...give him a call for beta?

I think I've checked that cliff out as well. Major orange buttress only 100m from the road. There is several bolted routes on it already (old carrots) up on the high left side and some FHs on some steeper things in the middle. Looks like some potential for scoopy routes. A bit of choss down low on some them. I don't think its private property - but hard to tell around there.
