This was taken by former climber Stuart MacElroy (Randy Mac) while he was Flydying above buffalo
It shows the Mackey's Lookout/ Noblesse Oblige area pretty well

Yep, that was a fun day in the paraglider thermalling up over the gorge lookout looking down on 'scenes of the crime' from my former life. Ended up with a nice PB triangle that day.
Currently out here in the Forbes Flatlands 2012 Pre-Worlds competition bashing around in my hang glider. We are doing some big tasks so will keep an eye out for some more obscure crags in my travels!
Ado and Chris Fitzgerald from the Blue-ies were out here the other day towing their PGs, and some old hands from the climbing scene are lurking around in the comp too including Dave May and Phil de Joux. Rumour has it that Geoff Robertson (see your 1984 climbing calendar for the youth at the time stemming his way up a slippery looking Bombo quarry corner) will be turning up today to rip it up for a while - the reports of the awesome flying must have been too much and he couldn't resist getting in amongst it himself. He is an extremely talented pilot and bound to go BIG and FAST!
Flying maybe where 'old' climbers go to retire!

Must be something worthwhile in hanging up in space tied to a handkerchief. Seems to attract all the old farts.
Ant Prehn seems to be pretty obsessed, too.
Anyone got a spare bedsheet they can lend to Mikl?

Hey Stu, I just came back from flying my sailplane based at Cootamundra for a couple of weeks. Good conditions, most of us stayed south of Forbes area due to your comps and not wanting to collect one of you on our wingtip.
Thermals fairly broken and difficult for us this year, I'm happy for the farmers but it was so much better during the drought... :-)
