Top roping on fixed rings or shackles basically saws through them rather quickly.
If you are going to top rope. Then PLEASE do so on your own quick draws.
May i suggest you go out and buy some stainless twisted d shackles and place them
correctly and saftly on said route. Then come back in awhile and find them excesivly
worn due to top roping. You can then go out and buy some more pricey d shackles out of your own pocket and replace them yet again.
Please if you must top rope, set it up on your own quick draws, and pay a little respect to those putting up the routes and those that maintain and re bolt them.
