Don't try to do the Doli's without a car, it's hard enough to organise camping to supermarket to crag to pizzaria to pub logistics, even with a car

My favorite place was Torre Venecia on Civetta. Tre Cima is a zoo, Tofana is horrible death choss.

Don't let the choss psych you out, I thought I might die on the first couple of routes but acclimatised very quickly and loved it by the end

Gear, shmear! Lots of slings and double ropes is good advice...........and get on harder routes! GrVII is only 21 and probably has good rock with lots of pegs in, GrIV is 16 with terrible rock and death falls. I know option (a) felt easier for me........of course, we didn't work it out till we'd done 5 or 6 "easy" chop routes!
