No to the 6ft track. That would be another I'd like to do one day... My only Ultra so far was the Bellarine Rail Trail Run in 2006 when it still started in Geelong, I was one of only four who did the additional return leg from Queenscliff. Most just go one way to Queenscliff as a good lead up to the Melbourne marathon.
I went into it with only an average 30km per week training due to injury, but still finished the 68km in 5:56 and was the first home. ;-)

I keep checking this thread to see is poor old Etbrown has scored himself a pad yet and find I'm getting confronted by more of this ultra-marathon stuff.
Here's the deal - I promise I will never hijack a thread ever again if you start up your own ultra-masochism thread and leave this one alone. It's making me feel sick.

Back on track- I know of at least 4 people (etBrown, asil, a mate of mine, and myself) who are all looking for a 2nd hand Bouldering mat... so if there are any more lying around as dog bed's I'd be quite happy to purchase a comfy, quality genuine wrought iron bed for your "spoilt baby"?...

Or something more practical..

Why don't the four of you put your dollars together and buy a mat(s) to share? Bouldering is much more fun in a group.
Sorry people, my dog wins!
However, I appreciate the links. I have tried these in the past and my dog seems to destroy them very quickly. Bouldering mats seem to stand up to his treatment.

Dalai, sensational efforton the time and distance. Well done especially with such little base.
With an effort like that, there are a few races out there that you would certainly give the podium a nudge.
All the best with your bikes and hope to see you in an Ultra........soon.....

That's cool. I'm over it.
In fact, I've dusted off my running shoes and I'm thinking about going for a run tomorrow.
