Hi,
I have a very keen nearly 7 year old climber and wondered if anyone had a pair of kids shoes they were interested in passing on? Happy to use and pass on or buy.

I have a gazillion pairs of old 34-35 ish shoes but I am currently in the US. I'll be back early november. If you are around arapiles, you could drop buy and check them out.

Thanks Wendy. We are only doing indoor climbing as we are still pre-novice level so not likely to be at Arapiles which is over 2 hours drive for us. My son's birthday is late November so we may be able to arrange a weekend trip before then? Are there any other options you can suggest?

Hi Claire,
Happy to help if I can.
I have been maintaining a stock of kids-sized shoes for loaning out but they are seldom used. They include one of Wendy's old pairs.
My stash is in the garage of my place in Halls Gap and we are up there Friday to Monday. Is that convenient enough for you?
(Wendy: we're probably day-tripping to Nati Saturday if you want to pass anything else on, understanding that you're not home).
There are 2 caveats:
1. Not sure what particular sizes I have, could check on Friday for you.
2. Many of the ex shoes I have from Wendy (for example) are 5.10's which are an aggressive fit. For example the heel cup is very curled over to force the toes into the front of the shoe, and I have generally found kids don't like the way that feels. To get a comfortable heel they pick something 2 sizes too big that doesn't work so well. Your sons views may be different.

Thanks for your offer for help. IF you could check sizes this Friday that would be super. I am not sure what my son's view would be on having really tight shoes either...
I have weekend commitments keeping me in Warrnambool for the next 3 weekends...
