What: Petzl ASAP Industrial - Mobile fall Arrester
Condition: Limited use, cosmetic scratches on back of device as seen in picture (As new)
Price: $150 + postage (RRP$289) (offer me if you are interested)
Location: Richmond - Melbourne, willing to ship to anywhere at buyers expense
Reason for Sale: Used as a personal backup rope fall arrester when rappelling/ inspecting/ cleaning/ bolting rock (recreationally) for longer periods of time. (I have never broken a mainline so has never seen a fall). Dont use anymore and want it gone

I'm kinda keen,
Could you post a photo of the serial number so I can see how old it is?
Would ya take $100 (as its second hand, and I'd need to find myself an energy absorber etc...) if it checks out? Would need price for postage to katoomba (2780) also.

Can anyone point me to some legit information stating whether or not it is acceptable to use the hook of an overhead of Mobile Fall Arrest as an anchor point for fall protection as long as the hook is locked out. I have found conflicting interpretations online.

Do you mean "can you use the hook of an overhead crane as an anchor point for a Fall Arrest system?" It's been done a lot, but there's issues with the system obviously that means most sites try to avoid it.
