Nine sprung Sticht plates? Looks like you broke up with an abseiling instructor.

Wise move!

A perusal of the 'for sale' threads on this site would reveal specific information regarding what you can ask for that gear (when you find similar advertised), though some of the gear you have (particularly the sprung sticht plates), is well outdated by today's standards...

Another alternative is to make a list of what items you have, and attend an outdoor shop that supplies climbing gear, to check what the asking price for same is; ... or check online prices (here is one) for similar (Vertical bag, Black Diamond, Wild country, Petzl and SRT Australia), ie the manufacturers, and ask about 50% of their asking price.

Thanks for the quick response I have done some research and it seems to be about $500 worth of gear there I took about 60% off the online prices some items I dropped about 75%

Would you say that $500 is reasonable?

I just want it gone!

$500 isn't bad, but it may struggle to sell as a complete lot. Some of those items like the racks are expensive but not particularly popular. Also very few people need that many Stitch plates. Just put it up for Auction either here or Ebay. I suggest that you just start taking bids now. Here. People here are honest and know what they are looking at.

You'll definitely sell a fair bit of that stuff here. Those cams should go for $100 for the set. The GriGri for $50. The Racks for $40. The nuts and hexes for $100 the lot.

For the lot probably but be prepared to negotiate (think postage vs pick up locally at climbing gymn etc), ... but I doubt you will find a buyer who would want the lot, as some of that gear is specialised (eg the rappel racks), and many climbers don't specialise that much.

Post edit: patto beat my reply by a minute (I hadn't seen that when I replied), but we tend to agree...

>Black Diamond Camalot - Sizes 1 to 4 $100 120
>sprung Stitch plates x9 - $20 $4 each, as nobody is likely to want more than one...

If you don't know, you can edit your first post and that lets you edit / update the thread title from;
>Help with pricing secondhand equipment

Likewise you can retro-edit any of your subsequent posts, regarding item prices and update as sold when they do, to save confusing readers (sometimes years later!).
This also applies to the thread title too, when all items are sold.

I notice that you took my advice, and now realise it was remiss of me not to advise you to take up climbing and use it yourself!

Aimee, in your pic with the DMM wall nuts you appear to have some smaller stuff, any chance of some closer pics of the tags so I can work out what they are?

It looks to me like there could be a couple of RP's in there (photo 3).

In fact it looks to me like the sets have been mixed / mis-racked a bit, though the sizes in each cover the spread of likely placements with maybe a couple of doubleups.
If the sets were sorted they are all likely complete, and there could be (from what I can see*), another RP in one of the other sets.

(*My eyes are old and the computer screen resolution I have here isn't great...)

I reckon they're the smaller BD nuts (1,2?) and quite possibly a BD micronut...
