You didn't happen to be at Crumpets checking the surf yesterday (Wed.) by any chance? As I was leaving I drove past someone who was a dead ringer for you.

Yep that was me. I didn't surf Crumpets - the half dozen surfers in the water were a few too many given the waves were coming through pretty infrequently. Decided to go windsurfing at Bridgewater instead.

Another vote for winter surf / climbing from me, everywhere in Vicco cranks thru winter, the more sun soaked crags in the Gramps and Araps are lovely thru winter too, provided as others have said, you stay out of the wind. Point Perp (as mentioned earlier) and the Nowra area is sensational thru winter, good surf, nice temps, brilliant scenery and fantastic climbing - that's why I moved here!
