I reckon a check of guidebooks would show more than 300m climbing at places like Buffalo Gorge*, Bungonia, and Warrumbungles.

(*I know for sure that a 200m rope is iffy about reaching the second belay off the deck on Ozy, and I am pretty sure that Big Red Supergiant at Bungonia breaks the 300m mark).

Applying a little basic climbing math shows that: 40m x Anxiety = 400 m

I reckon that's the answer for sure. Any journo who had climbed in the Gorge or at Bungonia or on Frenchman's Cap would be well known to everyone already.
