nah I just meant the kids sliding. but yeah those guys on jet skis were being silly - I didn't see them at the skate partkthough.

I was trying to do that wakeboard well it was actually a knee board. It was fun - I did get wacked into a stump though when I came off. -dangerous maybe, but fun also. The bridge did hold. but do't know whether I would have been happy atanding on the bridge while we were doing it!! One of those lads is Woody the guy I took out on Sunday to do guiding light. x

Nati's fine. If you're going to have problems it will be in central Vic

Was that an invitation?!! If it was then you should read my previous comments re the lovely Nati.
Just because we don't agree on the ambience of a place doesn't mean that i am a grump. I just have an alternative view. I am sure Nati is the kind of place to embrace all the different views that exist in society ;)
And on a more serious note i hope nobody was affected too much by the flooding :) and everybody came out of it ok and had a group hug.

I don't think I've seen Nati that wet since the locals caught wind of the fact that Simey was moving into town....................

That's not true. We got just as wet when he first said he was going to open a Cafe.

Kind of a related aside. How is the Lake going/looking like ending up? I kind of miss Nati Lake.

Still a long way to go before it flows out the other side into Wyn Wyn. Relatively minor flood as far as the creek goes (the houses that were under threat this time usually go under in a decent flow), but still a lot of water to come down before it stops flowing again so fingers crossed.

As for Toolondo, not much of a natural run off for it, was filled and maintained by channel in the past and the water catchment people don't see it as a priority. The only hope for it is if Rocklands fills and they divert water into it. Not holding my breath. Shame as it was the best waterway around to spend time at on hot summer days (set up on one of the islands over the other side).

And, sadly, GWM water are now letting water flow into Green Lake to be wasted for water skiing. The people of Horsham have been like spoiled children demanding their toys back as soon as a half-way reasonable year came along. It's not enough that they have a good river running through the town and a large permanent lake 5 minutes away from Green Lake, they have to have things back the way they were. It makes me sick really.
