bit early this year but the caltrope is booming just found a big patch of hoppers as well . Too much to hope they'll polish of the caltrope though . So I be switching from spraying insecticides to weeds and back again . triple rinse required each time and the only insecticided readily available has a long withholding , gov bought up all the available fungus spray . Might try wok frying some locusts or maybe choc dip them , very good source of protein and fat supposedly

You could try pickling or dehydrating. That way if you aquire a taste for them you will
have plenty to tie you over the next winter. And with dehydrating there is always the smoothie option aswell.

summer storms around Shepparton area have caltrope growing prolifically again , if storms around Arapiles would pay to keep an eye open for new growth

I had a look at some of the regular trouble spots and didn't see anything, but for sure, it's caltrop time.

We only got about 10mm all up though

More rain today, and this time a bit of humidity as well. Definitely caltrop time.

Take care when picking them though, as there appears to be a growing number of latent ass bandits lurking in the vicinity

Yeh 4 sure. 10 mm all up just isnt enouf.

Once Uv collected an bagged them, take them 2 the repository in Nati (the house on stilts), opposite the hydroponic dojos, where Ed will gladly have them.
Knock on his door anytime day or nite an Ul B warmly received.
