Nowra? Or more specifically the Schoalhaven caravan park.. Showers, flushing toilets, laundry facilities, power, rubbish facilities, boats/canoes/animal park for rest days (on top of the town and cinema etc).. Easy paddle across river to cliff, minimal walk in, all bolts...

Romantic memories? Sadly not much romance on that trip. Nostalgic memories, certainly.

As much as I love the climbing in Nowra I'd have to say it doesn't rate compared to Bombaderry. Its got a fishing spot called Eel City, a maccas closer to the crags than the south nowra, the pub has a bistro and tits on a friday and a park to sleep in across the road and doesn't have the yuppie vibe of the north nowra tavern. Theres a bottlo on the walk in to the Bombaderry crags

Id have to say that the Calanques takes some beating;
Nude white limestone beach bolts with pizza, wine and hash delivered
NO fisting required
Some might say Kangaroo Point offers all the above on a good night!
