Man, I hope those calculations are "per 30 days of the trip", not "for the entire trip, which will only last 30 days"

If you camp at the Arapiles for a month, it will require effort to spend $800......unless you're making up for lost time spent in an alcohol deprived society
I count on about $1000/month when I climb overseas (in countries about as expensive as australia).....and I like to 'enjoy life'

This would be very comfortable living.........or you get a girlfriend...........or the engine shits itself

Something had to get lost in translation, didn't it.
You're absolutely right, the calculations are "per 30 days of the trips"..
Don't know for how long, but if I'm going to the other side of the globe I'll certainly be there for a while.
I had a feeling my "best case" was a bit too cheap, but note that there is no post for "alcohol" ;)
1000+/month does not break my budget at all. This is looking good :)

Good one, you'll love it
More lost in translation, I meant it would be difficult to find ways to spend $800 during a month at arapiles..........there should be room for steak and beer in that month
Hey, by the way, nice job with eurovision. I thought the hosts were really funny, for the first time in history. Pretty cool stage and lights too. The songs were crap, but that's expected...........and we don't watch it for the songs, do we boys?

Haha, even better.
Eurovision yeah.. I wish we wouldn't have won last year. It cost us the football world cup on the state-owned channel (which has better commentators than the commercial ones.)
I didn't know you guys down under watched it :)

the longer you stay the cheaper owning a car becomes relatively , just don't underestimate the distances or the quality of roads eg northern terrority south australia border is 800+ km only one normal car useable road , or the 1800+ km Western Australia border has 2 roads 1700 km apart. However roads in the populated areas are generally pretty good .Victoria is nearly the same size as Norway to give you a better idea of relative distances
