I'm bored so I'm putting up a (rather pointless) poll, the question being:

If you had 1 month in a destination of your choice, all expenses paid (not by you), where would you go?

That's one very short list. I would select all if I could.

When you say "all expenses paid", would that include being choppered in and out of places, bags of
coke, expensive harlots, food that would make a glutton blush, and 6 star accom with Jacuzzi?

If so I would go to Switzerland.

I'd have thought Thailand might warrant a mention.

Eduardo - I like where you're coming from. Spain would do that quite well I reckon.

Nope. That was me. Wilderness is what I want. Plus all that other stuff though. Just no other people, that's all I care about. A belayer and a team of harlots at base camp.

Lower humidity
lower temps
less people
trad
wilderness
hospitals

These are some ideas to get you started.

Spain sounds good but I had to tick NZ as the two places I'm really psyched on visiting at the moment are The Darrans and Castle Hill.

Friction
peace and quiet
something that people aren't trying to turn into a tropical version of chez eux

I don't actually think Arapiles is a particularly good place for a holiday. The fact that anyone climbs/lives there at all is testement to the quality of the climbing.
