Obviously it was too early in the morning to be using swype to type things. Should've read "Then why does it have giant, pendulous breasts on it where the wings should be."

I actually quite liked the first sentence! I did too wonder about the giant udders for wings, but i think it's kinda cute. Not that I see any connection between skywhales and canberra. Or arapiles for that matter. But I suspect it did look rather cool floating around the Mt.

ODH designed it during his injury layoff. First test flight to check out the anchors atop Birdman. It is currently on its way to Point Perp where the team will abseil from the whale, bolt cutters cluthed between teeth.

Movie tonight on SBS 2 called High Lane. Seems to involve some climbing though from the trailer looks more like lots of via ferratas. Rotten tomatoes gives it 60% so watch at your own peril.

Ended up flicking past this accidentally. Was all Via Ferrata. I thought there was some good camera work though. Was a good watch up until it turned into a hack and slash horror movie which the wife wasn't too interested in.

'A brave British rock climber has conquered one of the world's most difficult climbs in seven tricky hours'

Interesting way of describing a 7c+ with a crux constructed out of glue! I guess the walk up is to the crag is a little 'treacherous' with a few creek crossings.

The two really spectacular silhouette photos that are meant to be of the El Dolphin route are definitely not that. They have farming in the background - there are no farms in Rosella.
