Eating bananas in the morning seems to help me with Late (Delayed) Onset Muscle Soreness. Maybe there's some potassium in Skins?

From http://www.skins.net/au/en/WhosWearingSkins/Rock_Climbing/Timy_Fairfield :

Skins provides the best clothing technology for taking care of my body in the form of increased performance and accelerated recovery. I didn't realize how much more efficient I could be with my training until I started wearing Skins clothing.

"Last I heard DOMS was no longer thought to be caused by lactic acid build up." yeah, i think you're correct ajfclark with the delayed onset muscle soreness. But I think lactic acid build up, or at least lack of good oxygenated blood flow , can cause the temporary pump in forearms experienced whilst climbing. That's just where I was thinking the compression part of the skins could (?) theoretically be beneficial. And I agree that anything increasing circulation after climbing can help with DOMS. I'd rather a massage though ;-) hehe.

Those powersleeves sound interesting and reminded me of powerthirst... Incidentally, I was at a party on Saturday night and noticed that Smirnoff Ice now comes in Raw berry flavour...

i do agree last time i saw you doing laps on lord of the rings
the skins really looked like they were helping you clip that last bolt.
without them you probably woun't have been able to do the 10th lap

They even have a cap to help squeeze blood out of your head where it isn't needed.

I wear my skins to sleep sometimes, so I really only use it in recovery, and it does make a big difference!
