Starting a thread devoted to himself is just the next step in the ongoing self promotion campaign.
I'm sure that a poll will be next, if that doesn't work then maybe an article on this site about himself......
oh wait he's already done that, putting himself up alongside people like HB and Dave Jones etc.
maybe he has little mans syndrome, and has to make up for it in other ways, yes this thread is visionary.

I though that 8a.nu was for talking yourself up...

I know one thing.

Neil is a very skilled angler.

He baited his hook and it took him 4 posts to hook a hipster and 19 post to hook a bomber pro.

I bet he is laughing his arse off.

Do you write horoscopes for a living?

If not, you should.

Wow, just read the Gramps guide thread after this one. I'm with Neil. There seem to be a lot of guys just hanging around looking for an opportunity to defend their egos.

Hilarious stuff here though. More fodder for the famous Bomber Pro quotes whiteboard in Blackheath.

I know. That's what I was trying to say.

He got baited on that thread, so he created this thread and it worked. You and hipster took the bait both ended up looking like petulant children.

I don't care either way.

I'm with Eduardo. This is the best thread ever.

Neil to my knowledge is a Queenslander. What else is there to give him shit about thats worse than that?

WW bolted a crack yesterday and as rodw said on a different thread he then claimed ownership of deeds done and now is about to become a prolific retrobolter.

Bomber, if your on chock at 1:30am you should be laughing. I had to get up at 4.

I heard he tucks his shirt into his underpants, and irons his handkerchiefs; and as a banana bender
myself, I can assure you that NM is either corrupt (in the receiving brown paper bags in car parks kind
of way) or is a fully paid up member of a neoconservative political party.

He also, no doubt, has bad breath on occasions.

You know its true.

I'll flame Neil.

Neil, why did you have to post those photos of the rusty carrots that you pulled out of Bangor?

Now that has bumped the "Should we be placing carrots?' thread so it got noticed again and we have some Canadian dude going on about "ticking time bombs" and death waiting to happen and blah de blah de blah...

He will now get replies and it will all start over again and I guarantee nothing new will be added to the arguement and blah de blah blah blah...

Why didn't you just go and replace the bolts and stick the old ones in your bizarre Mueseum of Dodgy Fixed Gear. Soon you will be able to charge admission.

Holy hell! Those carrots were rusty!

Bangor is pretty close to the coast. Of course they were rusty. There are carrots in the Blueys that are considerably older than the Bangor ones and they are fine.

But that distinction will be overlooked and we will get all that ticking time bomb crap again.

and again

and again
and again

But they ARE ticking time bombs! You should know, now that you're a fully fledged ring bolt placer.

just to keep this thread off track...
Any old steel carrots in the Blueys are still timebombs, they just haven't gone off yet. Unless they're shrinkwrapped.

And to get back on track... I'd like to complain about Neil's rational and calm manner of dealing with hypocrites, because it makes everyone else's rants look childish.

Well, if people got off their arses and did something about the situation rather than continually whining about it, those timebombs will gradually disappear.

I argued with Neil on the carrot thread probably more than anyone here and I came to appreciate his and others points of view.

What did I do about it?

I bought myself a Bosch and learned how to properly place ringbolts, so that I could replace my carrots and any other dodgy bolts with safer alternatives.

What did you do about it?

Well, here's something positive you could do about it. Put some money where your mouth is.

i don't like wallwombat as he is talking sense and we all know that doesn't fly around here. at least he's a little wound up doing it.

i think neilo's done a service to the community. he doesn't want carrots bashed in so lets bash him instead.
