The Official Pissed Off Thread!

I decided to start this, as I'm not gutted and didn't think posting on that thread was appropriate.

I'm also not stoked.

I'm PISSED OFF!

I'm pissed off that my right foot/ankle is still buggered. The left one has healed really well but the right one, which is the one that showed what could be a small fracture on the X Ray, is still bloody sore. I'm pissed off that this means that tomorrow I'll be going to the doctor to organise a CT scan or ultrasound or whatever it takes to determine if it is fractured or not. Can't wait for the good news!

I'm pissed off that I was all set to pack my van and f#ck off on a bit of a road trip and now I'm Limping Larry and can't do bugger all.

I'm pissed off that the oil leak on my van that I payed $220 to get fixed decided to return, bigger and better than ever. That was worth it!

I'm pissed off that my outlaw biker uncle unloaded his 14 year old deaf Border Collie off on me to mind, indefinitely. Thanks Pete.

I'm pissed off that last years income took me into the "you have to pay off your HECS debt" territory and instead of the expected tax return, I'm going to get a tax bill. Bewdy!

I'm pissed off that the South Sydney Rabbitohs are a shit rugby league team and have buckley's chance of making the finals.

I'm pissed off that I can't get any pot in Goulburn. Thanks NSW Police Academy!

I'm pissed off that I'm in Goulburn.

I'm pissed off that Chockstone has been so boring in the last couple of days that I have had to log onto rockclimbing.com and bait Americans. I hope things pick up, as I don't really want to resort to posts on UKClimbing.com about bolting and chipping gritstone. They go ape shit!

I'm pissed off that Stargate SG-1 isn't on TV anymore. Spaceships and alien invaders alway cheer me up.

I think I might go and drink some red wine but first I'm going to get up out of my chair, open the window, stick my head out and yell. "I'M MAD AS HELL AND I"M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!"

That's better!

Anyone else pissed off about anything?

The amazing race might be on? yuk! I'm not too thrilled with Ozzie tv yet. although deal or now deal and who want s to be a millionaire is better

Here's something that'll make you laugh -if you haven't already found it that is.

I'm a bit bored with the fingerboard.

But that photo of John Bachar (RIP) wearing those belay glasses certainly put a smile on my face.

Cheers

You could watch Gillard have Turnbull for breakfast on Q and A in a minute.

Won't be nearly as much fun with the Goulburn gear shortage. Same down here.

You can bolt with a bad ankle......use that anger and go plug some bolts in.

F#ck sympathy!

What part of my initial post makes it sound like I'm looking for f#cking sympathy?

I have no sympathy for myself. Why would I want it from the likes of you?

I thought it was obvious. There is a Stoked thread for people that are stoked. There is a Gutted thread for people who are gutted. I thought there was a place for a Pissed Off thread for people who are pissed off.

Living in Albury, I thought you would probably get a bit of mileage out of a Pissed Off thread.

And nuts aren't my problem - ankles are my problem.

And maybe brains.

Yep. Sure can.

Hardest part will be getting to the crag. Let me know if you and that very nice Land Drover of yours are planning anything. As you know, my van doesn't do four wheel drive tracks very well.

I'm keen.

I'm pissed off because I'm under the surgeons knife again on Monday for the second time in just over a year. First my shoulder, now my knee. Bunch of arse.

Backcountry gear.. Thats who I am PI$$ED OFF with.
I ordered my climbing gear (for work) over a month ago expecting it to be here in a week.
Mistake number 1. The gear was on back order for 10 days.
Mistake number 2 No one emailed me to tell me the gear was ready for shipping, so after 15 days I email them and ask some Qs.
The reply. Oh yeah its been waiting here for days we have been waiting for you to email us to tell us how to ship it.
Mistake number 3. It took them 2 days to send me my shipping options. Options, $US210 for 5-8 days delivery, US$275 for 2-3 days delivery.
Mistake number 3. I take the more expensive quicker option as its costing me money to hire the extra gear to do the job.
Mistake number 4. It takes them another 2 days to start shipping my gear out and I receive this email. You will have your gear in approx 8-10 days.

I am currently tracking my gear and if it aint in Melbourne by Saturday ready for me to pick up Monday Morning then things just might get a little ugly for a while.

Oh by the way F#CK YOU Backcountry gear.

Technicaly mistake number 5 is mistake number 6, as mistake number 3 was repeated.
That would make mistake number 4 the actual mistake number 5.
Hey maybe we need an OFFICIAL PEDANT THREAD.

You could start one, hopefully that way I'll able to read all the other threads................. and just ignore that one !

Sorry to hear that sad tale Mick, maybe check out Rock Hardware ?
Just as cheap once you discount all the hidden costs and hassle.
Steve usually does stuff overnight and is very helpfull when it comes to special orders.

I had same problem with mtntools except in the time it took them to process my order the aus dollar fell and it ended up costing me $400 more than it should...

I'm pissed off that I went to Black Range today and I was worse than last time. Not pissed about going to BR, cos it's awesome, pissed that I am not awesome.

Seems that not climbing anything for a month has not made me better. Makes some sense I suppose.

I second the suggestion of rock hardware, Steve has been great for me in the past too, next business day delivery for the last order I did.

I know that Steve at rock hardware is awesome but he cant sll me 60m PMI ropes for $165 AU or gym harnesses for $40 AU. BUT after this last screw up there is NO way that I am importing climbing gear again. My pissed off tale continues to get worse. Because the Aussie dollar has slid a little since ordering my bill has topped that magical $1000 mark making customs very interesred, So interested that I now have to pay import tax and GST. How much over $1000 was I ??...........95 fricken cents.
Back country's continual stuffups have cost me another $250 in taxes.
