yere, life is pretty good down that way. after work yesterday i really had a dilemma about what to do - too many choices! Option a) bike ride to beach and swim b) bike ride to crag and climb c) bike ride to gym and train d) drive to waterway and kayak e) bike ride to marine park and snorkel or f) drive to beach and surf. I finally chose the latter and went to Cronulla. Very beautiful in the afternoon sunset and such a big wide beach. Not sure if there is any climbing guiding work though? and real estate isn't very cheap in Sydney/Shire!

Hey Neil,

There is a couple of crags that might be worth checking out in the shire, but only seem to have access via kayak. Both on Port Hacking and Woronora River.

Anyway its 2 hot for that, ill be back down nulla this arvo for a little boulder and swim. You should come and check out Sandshoes(Oak Park) bouldering on the beach.

Just what you needed when choosing somewhere to live in Australia-

A recommendation from a 14 year old kid in Montana

Hey speaking of Nowra...What's it like? We went to point perp for a bit...cool but not great, and although I wanted to get there, we never did. I know your rep and I wanted to check with someone reliable on the place.

StuE

No more bizarre than another current thread discussing oxymoronic journalism ethics.

Something else that puts Adelaide ahead of the pack is the Tour Down Under. The boys shot past my
workplace a few minutes ago and I snuck out for a look. Impressive.

I console myself by thinking I'd outclimb Lance, but I'm not sure I could still say that after about 3
sessions.

Great event! I went across to watch and ride the challenge event last year... From a cyclists perspective having the hills so close is a definite plus for Adelaide!

From a non-cyclist perspective, working in the city during TDU sux. Having the hills so close to the city is a major plus for climbers tho :)
