Yes good enough M9 its all yours. Everything is right except its pitch 1. This is the start about 10 meters to the left of the usual that avoids the scramble and is a tad more interesting. Well guessed!

Sorry, no.

This route is much shorter, has more protection opportunity, but is probably climbed on about as often ...

While I've never climbed @ Buffalo, I'd have been surprised from the descriptions if you could get a shot of NO with 2 runners!

One of the flake/crack 14/17 slabs at Catani Crag?
I did both a few months back. pleasant enough, mighty thin flakes make it scary to imagine a fall on any gear behind them though...

The climb is not at Buffalo, but it is written up in a VCC guidebook.

That same thought occurred to me when kieranl replied, though since NO has been retro'd there is an average of two bolt runners per pitch now!

How many pitches M9isbadatMaths? How many bolts? I don't think the average or the mean is anywhere near 2.

I stand corrected M9isalwaysright. 13 bolts 8 pitches = 1.625 bolts / pitch It is close to 2 bolts per pitch.

The picture I posted above is half obscure (shouldn't be to NE Vic climbers), so I thought I'd throw another very obscure one into the mix from a different location, to help feed the adventurous types who like to explore; ... to talk about while others guess the first?

Hereyagoegosan ~ a location without bolts for you to ponder..., & no, it is not Mt Buffalo.

Hmm, while I was uploading another pic on a slow day, gordoste comes along and correctly guesses the route and location.
It is a pleasant line that a number of Chockstoners have done early in their climbing careers.

It is all yours gordoste. Please ignore the adventure location pic above(!), that I will leave since I took the effort to post it.

I am glad to see that I am not the only one that can't keep the horizon horizontal.

No, and since it is not my turn I shall name the location.
It is a small cliff located slightly southeast of Falls Creek. It was something I took an interest in while motorcycling the Vic high country, sussing out potential new climbing spots for myself.
