Since I started this...

As dumb as a bucket of hammers

Not the sharpest tool in the shed

I prefer drier than a nun's bun, but only cos it rhymes.

Kenny had some good ones like "Busier than a one armed brick layer in Baghdad" and "Mad as a clown's c--k".

We are scraping the bottom of the barrel now.

"I could eat the crutch out of a low flying duck..." has been said twice.

Anyway, I have a head like a twisted sandshoe and I'm going back to work now

To get this thread back on track, I'm stoked I bought a new rope, even though I didn't really need it.

mmmm...new things....I like new things...mmmm

Good on you. Keep the economy rolling!

Presumably it's an abseil rope so you can brush your highball projects at Black Range.

No, it's a 10mm dynamic.

I realised just after I modified my GriGri for rope soloing, that all my ropes were too thin to work in the bloody thing, except for a ten year old 50m 10.5mm that I really don't think I should be using.

Look out Functor, here I come.

For my highball problems at Black Range, I have a step ladder and a brush gaffer taped to a pole.

Just wanted to say I'm stoked because I'm heading to Squamish in July to climb The Grand Wall.

Also I'm trying to become a rockclimber again!

Stoked that after months on the dole, the Tropical Pacific Island Dream Job No.1 came up and I got an application in. Then the Tropical Pacific Island Dream Job No. 2 came up and I got an app in for that. Stoked that No.2 rang to offer me an interview. Bummed that No.1 hasn't even shortlisted after 4 weeks. Then my old boss rings me up and offers me well paid contract work at the Department of Big and Dangerous Equipment. No.1 will probably ring next week with an interview too. It never rains...

Stoked, that after a great days climbing at Piddington yesterday, I woke this morning with the sound of rain on the roof, plesantly tired and sore muscles, a sense of satisfaction (from climbing!) and the day off work.

Stoked 'cause I have signed the contract and I am now gainfully employed. Bummed that I am no longer the token Centrelink sponsored climber. I'll have to start buying wine in bottles now...

Don't know about that, mate. I reckon there would be a few out there but they probably don't hang on the interweb.

They probably go climbing or train.

Stoked on 2 weeks photographing in the arctic, many fun times. (check out some of the pics @ http://www.joshcaple.com/blog )
Not stoked on having my laptop stolen in Vancouver airport, but definitely stoked on partying with mates in Whistler & super stoked that I've finally landed in Euro. Is that floor still available Jac? :P
