From what I've heard, you'll only need small protection - small nuts is my guess.
*note: i don't actually know what to use at canberra...

Well thats a good point which leads to some interesting topics for conversation... topics most likely best left for another thread.

Back on topic, I'm stoked that daave was man enough not to **** out the word "f---".

Edit: Hey! No fair! It automatically changed to f---. Oh well. Probably for the best.

No but 5 days later you should take a couple of nappies down to Bungonia.

Has nobody been stoked for a whole week and a half?

Anyway I'm stoked because on Wednesday I found another new problem at Felltimber. It involves a chicken wing, a fist jam and a lot of grunting. Just need to get back there and do the FA! It's always surprising to me that decent problems can still be found there!

I have! Was gutted after aidapalooza plans went awry on Friday, but had an awesome day with Zane yesterday: a quick romp up Sweet Dreams, then an afternoon at Bardens falling off things and pulling on draws (me) and onsighting and flashing (Zane). Stoked!

  • It's a 4 day long weekend starting Thursday.

  • 6 to 8 feet of snow has fallen up at Lake Tahoe in the last 4 days, with another foot expected tonight.

  • Ski resorts are opening early.

  • Friends have managed to bludge a house in Truckee off friends of theirs.

  • They invited us to join them.

FUGGIN' STOKED!!

And yes, I do wear a helmet while snowboarding (and climbing) - thanks for asking.

A recent mangled collar bone in Nati leads me to think you need full body armour on top of that helmet to avoid injury skiing. Actually, the list of recreational activities to significantly impede Natimuk climbing so far includes skiing, tennis, soccer, mountain biking, road cycling, afl and golf. Only the golf wasn't from the resulting injuries. Lesson to learn - just stick to climbing, it's obviously the safest. Except for golf, which is just plain boring. I never really understood the natimuk golf plague.

If you saw how I board, you'd probably recommend I give it a miss altogether!

The helmet is a result of a close call a couple of seasons ago. Makes no sense that I've worn one climbing forever, but didn't bother wearing one snowboarding until nearly offing myself on a tree. I guess it's a great example of how bad humans are at risk assessment...

Not a #9 iron? Or are these Natimuk alternative sports not all played at the same time?

Officially stoked that I took my first shit in the bush today!

...on a side note, stoked that I ticked Hotel California. 9 hours car to car for three climbers - pretty good eh?

Golf... too many flies on nati golf course - if it wasn't for that I'd reckon it would be a nice pleasent afternoon - fits my nice day out?? and marginally more exciting than body pump -you see a whole diff view of the mount (golf not body pump.)

I'm stoked because nati is an ace place to live. x
