I just booked flights for a ~6 month roadtrip of North America. You could safely surmise that I am somewhat stoked at this point.

Only when they have racial slurs in them. I'm sure something like "What is your major malfunction, numbnuts!" is ok in the correct context.

That + the fact it was misogynistic and seemed entirely off topic in a thread devoted to someones death. Get over it Dave. One deleted line amongst your thousands of other posts isn't the end of the world.

Oh stop biting Neil. Btw I have no problem with the moderation in the context. My insensitive bad. But saying you can only quote certain pieces from an artwork seems ultrasubjective.

widewetandslippery, mikl, ODH - are we still on for the weekend?

Having got the weekend off work, I will be seriously NOT stoked if it's off.

Touché. I hum a little ditty like this as I skip home from work of an evening though I'm still trying to figure out where the lube goes...

So was the guy that opened his kris kringle present and found a wooden spoon and a tube of KY. That was the last year we did kris kringle at the place for some reason...

Tomorrow I'm going to the US for six months - climbing and whatnot. It's fair to say I'm quite excited right now. I'll let you know how I go staying motivated.

I'm stoked I passed my exam last week and my last practical assessment today. Like Davidn, I'm stoked I'm heading out for a climb tomorrow night (first time in ages) and super stoked to see someone else uses 'whatnot'. Well played Duncan, enjoy your trip.

Orright! Absolutely stoked!!!
Casey Stoner has just won the World MotoGP Championship with a win at his home track of Phillip Island, and on his 26th birthday and also with his wife Adrianna pregnant with their first child.
It is a difficult thing to achieve in MotoGP, let alone in difficult track conditions on the day where many riders crashed out.
Go casey!
It is his 2nd world title, and his fifth win, this season, as well as (co-incidentally), his fifth straight win at Phillip Island. It is also only the fifth time in history that a MotoGP rider has achieved the feat on two different motorcycle brands!
Absolutely awsome.
~> Definitely stoked on his behalf.

Post edit:
A big weekend indeed.
Australia is killing NZ in the Rugby League Test (26 to 4 at the moment); ... and the Rugby World Cup semifinal of Aust vs NZ is coming up in an hours time!
