Working at the Nhill Hilton eh? That should be OK but you'll have to watch out for roos on the commute through the Little Desert.

I believe so - I've had to move 2 dead roos of the road in the past week -not pretty. They were big ones too - the two I've hit have fortunately (for my car not the roo makes it more sad-) been little baby ones. also hit several birds and the worst of all was a little kitten outside hopetoun - now that one was really sad because he knew what hit him poor little chicken x

If you manage to stick them 'irretrievably' on the upcoming aid weekend, and I manage to 'clean' them, ... are they considered booty?
Heh, heh, heh.
I'm stoked. The ninefiddy has new rubber (and a new set of brake pads). Friction is awsome(!) & can now go places (and stop), better than it could before!

I am not a good enough rider to do it on my ninefiddy.
For a competent rider it would be do-able achievement on a decent trials bike. For that person, I'd reckon the crux would be accessing the base of the climb!
Back on topic.
I am stoked in anticipation of the upcoming Buffalo aid-climbing weekend.

It's been a while since anyone has been stoked. That's no good.
Well, I'm stoked that my shoulder is much better and I don't seem to have done it any serious damage. Hopefully, if I continue resting it up, I'lI be able to go climbing next weekend.
Actually, that has more to do with me getting an assignment finished by the weekend, than it does with my shoulder being OK. Better hit the books.

Seems it was a preemptive call on the shoulder. It's bad again today.
But I'm stoked my little package arrived from the States - ten Madrock Ultralight Carabiners and a Black Diamond Spot headlamp.
I put the biners on ten of my cams and was amazed at the difference they made. I think I'll get another ten for the rest of my cams. Light is good!
The Black Diamond Spot seems good but I can't work the bloody thing out. It's supposed to have six settings and I can only work out three - really bright, really, really bright and really, really bright and flashing. I'm sure it will be easier once its's dark. I hope my neighbours don't call the cops.

Stoked I rode and finished the 115km route for the 3 peaks challenge (on sunday). 5 hours 20 min in the saddle, 4 hours of which was in constant rain.
I was convinced that at least half the field was bordering on hypothermia at the halfway point!

I'm stoked my man proposed last weekend atop a climb at Arapiles. Happy he was able to complete the lead with the sparkler in his shirt pocket :)

Cloudmaker, Paralyser and Guouogang? Nah - that's bushwalking/trail running in under 48hrs.
Strzelecki, Amos, Wellington? Nah, that's a combined yachting/running race held every Easter, although modified bicycles can be rigged up to the prop shaft.
What event are you speaking of?

He is speaking of the fall creak race. Sabu did the pikers varient which according to a work mate was punishing but not as bad as another work mate who did the real deal which was twice as long.
They ride up and down 3 big hills in the mexican alps. The weather is meant to of been rather harsh.
Sabu, I'm more of a Cloudmaker, Paralyser and Guouogang sort of person. Did you get a time you were happy with?
