Thats crazy. At the 4min 5sec mark he's hanging completely upside down like a friggin fruit bat!!! and he doesnt even look like he's struggling, No flailing or even a slight foot slip on any of those micro heel hooks.

There have been a few snide comments made on other forums when the video was first seen.

Made by total wankers... The only sad thing about chris' send, (or any hard send for that matter) is that it brings the nay-sayers and wingers out in force.

How much weight does your chalkbag brushing against the ground take off your arms... Anyone who thinks that would help on the send is a deluded idiot.

Too right. That las rest is so low that there is no way you could keep the bag off the ground.

I thought heelhooks, knee bars and shaking out were banned.

Congratulations Chris.
Awsome hardly describes it. I can feel the lactic acid pump just from watching such a masterful display of bouldering!

Thanks to those who posted the links.

Indeed! Great job by Mark capturing that piece of Oz climbing history in the making.

I think you might mean: http://www.pitch.com.au

Marks says he'll be adding more clips and an interview sometime.

An awesome effort on what , dare I say, is the most amzing problem that will ever be done in the
grampians. All difficulty aside Im not aware of many other 35 meter roofs out there. Even if this had been
6 grades easier it would still be the most amazing line in the gramps (and I might have managed to haul
myself up it)

Just watched the video....Its a shame it doesnt finish out Amniotic World after doing all the hard work. I
doubt it would add a grade but, tacking on another v8 and finishing up that pockety headwall would have
to be the ultimate way to do the cave. Maybe if he's still around and looking for something to do with his
spare time he should knock out another lap and finish out that way (Im sure he would have done it like
that had he just given it a shot)

Holy crap! I just watched the video, it ahhhh, doesn't look easy. I'm a bit dissappointed they didn't show the celebration when he finished, that's half the fun!
