Ian Thomas ?, I don't remember you either, but maybe if you were climbing in the late 60's early 70's,then
you were'nt climbing as much by the time I first whent to frog in 94, and the fall was no joke! at ten years
of age I thought I was dead for sure! But really my point was I did not rely on the indoor thing to get into
climbing!

Fair enough. I had left Queensland by 1975.
Cheers

Its not me personally but my 16 month old son climbs everything in sight. I was training on my bouldering wall a few months ago with him in the pram watching me and while having a rest I thought it would be fun to put him on the wall and get him to hang onto some jugs, to my suprise he started pulling up on the hold with me supporting him and grabed hold of the next one, now he goes nuts if I dont give him a go and hes turned his attentions to inside "boulders". Chairs, couches, shelving you name it, He just keeps trying different hand foot combinations until he gets to the top. Some things he "onsights" some he has to "Redpoint". As you can assume hes mums sort of impressed sort of pissed off depending on what hes climbing and blames me completely but as B.P alluded to I think most kids are naturally attracted to climbing.
