I thought it is okay to do as something different whilst there. But to go to Yosemite for either bouldering or sport is a waste. It's the big sweeping trad routes that are the drawcard!

Thanks for the tip. If my finger ever gets better I'd love to go over there...

Tape + nurofen + panaderm + red bull = no problems and days of bouldering! :)

I used nearly all the above when I took a week at Mt Arapiles and the Grampians bouldering last year.

The knuckle pain was too much, so I'm taking an enforced layoff from climbing - again...

Zero climbing ;-(

I got the details for a good osteo from Phil, so just need to get the time and funds to book a few sessions and get it looked at. As rest has done nothing...

It does, the bush in Africa is second to none IMO. Any of the larger gameparks will have the big 5 (Lion, Rhino, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo), very lucky if you see them!

Yoohoo young mousey.
Derek my love asked me to post this to your lovely thread since the motherators (waving madly at you from the Friday funnies thread hero!), still have his ipnumber.
He says to tell you that climbing is off for the next few days and he has gotten his rhino chasing big-gun-board out from under the house and is waxing it up as we type.

boo hoo, my boards not big enough. Toughen the F$ck Up Princess.
PS I have a practically* brand new 7'2" if you want it for $250.
Surfs way nicer than the one I got to replace it :-(, feels like a bloody boat by comparison (or atleast it did on the one surf I have had on it.

Let us know if you are coming up this way on the weekend.

Pete.

* board may have been pre-creased for your convenience.
