it was an amusing adventure - but maybe not quite worth the 1800km round trip.

In a fit of jealousy im going to scream "Bullshit thats not fair" and mumble and sook to myself. I dont know how you manage to live this lifestyle but im certainly envious and I will cackle like a demented idiot when you finally get married, get a HUUUGE mortgage and end up with 2, no 5 screaming kids.
Mate continue to live the dream for the rest of us.

depends.. katoomba, blackheath, or mt vic.. depends on you work & transport arrangements, and your climbing preferences
though personally i'd avoid katoomba, im not a toon-town kind of person...

being a climber is great living there, if you've never been there do a roadie to see how you like it

blackheath is kinda the epicenter where every goes for the bakery&coffee&chatinthecarpark deal
walking distance from anywhere in town to centennial glen/shipley/porters pass/celebrity, fairly lame skate park in the park, blah blah
its been a long time since i knew rent etc, but if you want ill make a couple phone calls and email you that info?

The move won't be for a while yet!
Just dreaming about rock :-)
I had a look at some rentals on the net, and Blackheath is affordable. And some sweet houses there too...
Ahh graduating can't come soon enough :D

haha yeah that's what i thought but then you get a fulltime job and have to become a weekend warrior... nah it's great, you just have to be really dedicated if you want to climb hard (i'm nowhere near dedicated enough).

Climbing hard never enters the equation these days.. I injure too easily!
Better to be living in the Blue Mountains and being a weekend warrior then living in the busy smokey gross city and being a weekend warrior!

Considering most of the work is in Sydney - Lets see if you're still saying that after a few months of 2 hour each way commutes on the bogan line!

The mouse is hopeful that this moron gets removed from power asap, because the mouse wants to have more hope in the future of humanity

Unless I am mistaken, there is a hospital in the Blue Mountains?
They'll be first on my list of preferences!
10 mins from Blackheath, where have I gone wrong?
