I'm happy with 8, though I would centre both lines on the back.

Any consideration to long sleeve t-shirts

Excellent work to all involved.

1st preference: A composite of 7 with the climber from (6) on the left hand side instead of an abseiler.

2nd pref. 5(a)

3rd pref. 6.

4th pref. 2(b)

It is a dificult choice as they are ALL good (even the ones I did not nominate); so I guess I would be happy with any of them!

I will be bringing several copies of a "Pre-Order" form to the gathering, which will allow people to register their interest in purchasing a Chockstone T-shirt in the future. Basically you'll fill in your name, shirt size and quantity. No money will be collected, it's just a means of determining numbers.

If we get enough interest based on this survey, we'll go ahead with the print run. At which point mail ordering on-line will be possible, as well as in person ordering hopefully at the next (Spring) gathering to avoid a postage fee.

At least, that's the plan at this point. It's all subject to change if things don't work out. Fiona has been running around town getting quotes, and I believe Simon's been working on his design, and I've organised funding through Steve at RH, but it's all still got a ways to go.

(Simon if you're reading this can you send me a high res version, or bring a print out to the gathering please?)

The form below was passed around at the April 2004 Chockstone gathering. For those of you unable to attend or who missed the chance to register your interest in purchasing a T-shirt, could you please shoot me an email with the information below (Name, Mens/Women's Size & Qty). We are currently short on numbers by about half of what we need to make the print run possible. If we don't get enough interest the idea will have to be shelved. A big thanks to Simon for his artwork and Fiona for organising the clothing / printers. Hopefully we can still make this happen!

All this talk of a third gathering got thinking again about the Chockstone t-shirts, so I counted the number of pre-orders we have so far and posted them over here:

Current Pre-Order List

We are up to 46 of the minimum batch size of 50. That's assuming the research Fiona did earlier in the year with printers is still valid. I'll be talking to Steve again soon, and could maybe ask him if he'd be prepared to fund the printing as is, on the assumption that the missing numbers would sell later on, though we'd have to guess sizes. Anyway I'll find out.

Only one year has passed since the conception of the Idea. This feels too much like work to me :). T-Shirts are easy and at that price you should be able to break even on about 30 sales for a run of 50.

I'm sure there are more climbers (and non climbers) out there that would like one, fill in a form and send it through.
