You have to give the guy his props. Patty has fired off Dihedron (5.14a R or 32 scary) in Joshua Tree. Amazing stuff. Equally as hard as any trad route in Oz (his own Dragon at Kalbarri) but this one with sketchy gear.

More details including notes about the route from Pat: Pinnacle Sports climbing news page.

Lee-bo,

What colour is your hair? Every time I see you your hair looks different, is it the same person?

PS Well done on the Lord's Prayer, the earliest ascent (8am) of that root?

An older, more mature D

You've caught me/us. There are many copies. Some are programmed to think they are human. And they have a plan.

ah you've discovered my secret identity - the chalk abusing steph. lol i knew that photo would find its way onto this forum somehow to incriminate me. :p nice to see it landed in a "useless junk" thread anyhow...

It wasn't until Onsight decided on a little 'mod'ifying...

Onsighting on Little Thor is impressive. A lot of people have trouble and get into trouble placing gear on lead with that climb...

Actually that wasnt lead. i know now onsight is meant to be lead, no beta etc, naked, blindfolded... but at the time of writing that i hadnt had enough experience to be leading anything outdoors. it was sort of the beginning so it was the only thing i could write for 'hardest onsight'. it was an onsight without the lead bit though... i should really update it - i've done other stuff since. but seriously its a great climb and i promise to lead it next time in araps.

i know a bloke loved Morfydd so much that he climbed it solo, nude, no boots, no harness or anything in the full moon, it's mentioned in Simeys selected guide i think.
