My new found friend Mildred told me not to get all hot and bothered about dancing with Mr Simey.
Sad really as I heard that Mr Simey has all the right moves and was seriously considering it since my M10 beloved Derek can't dance for betas sake. Any time I go to parties with him he just wants to borrow the hosts magazines. It is a bit of a worry when they pull them out from under the bed though, until I see that they are High magazines dating back many years.

Yoohoo, hello there Mr Bob Saki. Now don't you go worrying too much about Derek my loves little tremor delirium fits. He gets that way when he isn't getting any, if you get my drift. Why it was only yesterday that I found his secret stash of sly-grog out in the garage when I already thought I had found them all, when he went there under the pretext of playing with his gear. "Getting ready for the Tote" was what he told me but I popped out to have a word with him about his rudeness to well meaning posters on Chockstone when I saw it and there he was all in a lather with a cask of cheap wine while staring at a poster of the mighty Totem Pole. About all I could make out of his slurred speech was that my comb-over looks great, being one of the things he loves about me, and that Mr Onsight is a very good photographer. I fear he has been at it for quite a while now and it affects his memory. He can't remember my answers to the many questions he asks me so it must be that he has simply forgotten that he already asked me the questions. Anyway I think I now have him on the road to drying out, so hope he won't bother you and other good Chockstoners again. If he comes back asking more questions just remind him how alcohol affects the brain-cells if taken inappropriately and redirect him to the many answers you very patient peoples have already given him. Tiresome I know but with your help I know he can make a full recovery.

Ta ta dearies. Must go as I have a cake in the oven and doesn't it smell nice I must say.

Thanks for filling us in MrsM10, I had no idea the extent of the problems that led to such insidious behaviour.

I will be more tolerant but the rot must stop, I take you now have him under reigns.
BTW- mogadon bakes very well into cakes to keep the beasts calm if ya know what I mean!

i've never done the tote...but when you think about it most climbs have a sequence of
left...right...left..right...left...right...and if you have that philosophy then the question you need to be
asking is:

"which hand on the first bloody hold?"

Surely someone knows the answer to this question - or is the rumour about the tote never being free
climbed actually true???

Gango --- ur sort of right ... but ... are u c#mmmin , too ???? u can sit on the Cape with bi-nocks an sus the hidden holds on the sunny north face 4 me ...

Bomba --- simey sez its soft 25...

:O

but u reckon its solid 25 ... he aint trying to diss u ... dont b shy to keep posting !!!!
u c , bomba, the irony is that simey has had more beta than any of us , on account of rapping, dogging, *ahem* enhancing/cleaning holds etcetcetc.... so his ascent prolly felt like a well rehearsed 22 ... yeah ?

chalkischeap --- have u REALLY climbed it this year .. if so what sort of grade/desperation/conditions did u find it ?

Thx y'all

Awwwwww riiight ... I see what ur on about ,now, Si ...

Yeah fairynuf ... but I gather the orig free is horrible, badly-positioned-desperate-clipping bolts ( hey !! I luv carrots but ... ) , and slimey sea-sprayed nonsense on the south face ... , not 2 mentztion , :P , the rope drag around 3 faces ... NO FUN !!! ...

... the sunny north face , pitch 1 , WHICH U HAVE NOT CLIMBED , looks ... dry n sunny ... but mediocre protection ... NO FUN ...

FARK , ima fun kinda guy !!! :D

so , anyway , as I sed some posts ago, I'll hit the gym an get the pecks pumped , so these issues can be minimised ...

... the idea is to make the 1st true sea to summit ascent of the Tote, by sitting on a ly-low at the base of the crack that leads to the big belay ledge ... this is the crack that uz finished up , on the 1st pitch , during the FFA ... yeah? ... u with me ? ... good ...

... any advice ???
