Overseas Travel Insurance - Macqurie

So as part of my credit card features I get automatic overseas travel insurance. I expected that the travel insurance won't cover me for rock climbing as it seems to be an 'extreme sport', however, reading the terms and conditions rock climbing isn't exempt for personal injury. The only exclusions I see are for personal liability and rock climbing - that is, they won't cover me if I somehow get sued for something I do whilst rock climbing (bad belaying...?).

It seems too good to be true that I get medical insurance that they cover me for any dodgy rock climbing that I do.

People with experience, can anybody confirm that I am reading this correctly?

Damn it! I found the exclusion:

5. participation in Special Sports, extreme sports where special
equipment, training and preparation are required.

Yeah, travel insurance for climbing can be tough - many people think they have it, but even with the 'adventure pack' add-on with some insurance products they will permit rockclimbing but 'only with an accredited guide' or something along those lines. Which is rather pointless, as you would be covered by the insurance of the company that is guiding.

I've used Virgin travel with the add pack, they have some weasel wording, but allow for outdoor rockclimbing with 'ropes and appropriate safety gear'. Others are now also offering this and using the same wording. Both myself and others have reached out to Virgin to elaborate on what constitutes 'appropriate safety gear', but they won't comment, and just refer you back to their standard Product Disclosure Statement.
