Hi All, my first time posting on here. I am visiting Australia for the first time in a couple of weeks, (very excited!) and am planning on trad at arapiles and sport in the Grampians, before travelling around. My question is- it bring trad gear with me, is it easy to sell it at the campsite in arapiles? I have no idea whether it's like a camp 4 setup with a notice board.
As I will probably only spend a few days at arapiles, I'd prefer not to have to carry cams etc around with me for the rest of the trip, but don't want to miss out on climbing there either.
Thanks in advance.

Hahaha- looks like I'm leaving the big cams at home!

If you're coming from the US or Europe, you'll probably find that second hand trad gear here sells for more than you pay for it in the aforementioned places, even with a fair bit of use. Might be a bit different if you're trying to fire sell it though.

Why not post here for a future sale date? As pointed out gear is a fair bit cheaper in the states so I’m sure if you are reasonable about price expectations you’d find someone willing to wait

There will be a glut of sport draws hitting the market soon, don't bother bringing your DMM Alpha sports.

Thanks all, I think I'll just bring the minimum. It was such a relief to just ditch everything on my previous Yosemite trip- travelling light is the way to go.
