Heads up for anyone heading to the Gramps that the mosquitos are brutal at the moment, presumably because there's so much water about. We were bouldering around Hollow Mountain on the weekend and were plagued by some big, hungry mofos. If you're heading that way take some DEET.

I was there last week and even the strong Bushman's super DEET version didn't seem to deter them. They're hungry! Particularly bad in the Amphitheater.

Indeed, I was also there last weekend and they were brutal ! I was wearing repellent on al exposed skin but they still managed to feast o my flesh through my base layer one afternoon - Eneded up with 20 or so bites across my back and shoulders....Nice !

I was at the Black Range (nearby) on the weekend and they were appallingly bad.

Starting to pick up at Arapiles too now. My son counted 30 bites on return from the long weekend.
