Where are you getting per electorate upper house stats from?

We did have a fairly substantial primary vote for Rise Up Australia, 5.2%: http://vtr.aec.gov.au/HouseDivisionPage-20499-224.htm

Well, given their name, maybe they were mistaken as being a party of climbers.

Compared to the overall result in Mallee, the Natimuk booth had way higher support for The Greens, slightly higher support for RUP and slightly higher informal votes. The Nationals and CEC polled about the same as elsewhere in Mallee and Labor polled far lower.

I'll ask on Simey's behalf: What about the Sex Party?

I hope they did well. I was handing out 'How to Vote' cards on their behalf.

Elsewhere D.Lodge wrote something like the paraphrase rip below:
>In case people here were not aware of it, the Sex Party was officially recognized as political sportsters in Australia. This means that they can look for grants and also government assistance for their athletes with regards to training and travel. These are all good things and have been a long time coming.

Ay simey bro, on the long time coming topic, you did get your stipend from the Sex Party for handing out their 'how to' cards didn't you? Or are you not considered a suitable athlete yet?
If you need to raise your profile for a stipend increase then ditch hanging around with bro Ed as he is likely holding you back. Even the One Nation party did better without him.

That's the way Simey. Jealousy is an interesting emotion! By that I mean, "action speak louder than words." After all we are all sexual beings in one way or another! Rock on Simey, remember, "he who dies with the most toys, wins." So f---ing profound..........

Actually the cards I was handing out weren't 'How to Vote for the Sex Party', but more along the lines of 'Come to the Sex Party'.

I handed a card to one attractive woman who said, 'Where is the Sex Party?'

I replied, 'It's at my place'.

She then asked me, 'Who will be attending?'

I replied, 'You and me'.

She didn't turn up.

Nevertheless Simey proceeded to go ahead with the Nati Sex Party annual convention which in many ways despite the poor attendance resembled the Republican convention:
- there was some plagiarism, old and familiar lines were spoken
- boycotted in large numbers
- the agenda was dominated by one aging loudmouth who wanted to shoot off

The whole country needs to explain - 3 senate seats for one nation looking likely. Did we not learn anything from the UK about what happens when you put xenophobic nutters into positions of power? Do people not care they were committed for electoral fraud and just elect them again anyway? And has no one actually listened to them speak and realised what nonsense it is? It's really a embarrassment to the country.

The One Nation primary senate vote:

QLD 9.04%
NSW 4.10%
WA 4.01%
SA 2.99%
TAS 2.58%
VIC 1.82%

So roughly one in ten people in QLD voted 1 for One Nation. That is truly worrying.

However, normally they might only just have got the QLD seat on preferences to get over 16.666%. Due to it being a DD election, the percentage required halves to 8.333%. If Malcolm hadn't called a DD election, they might win QLD on preferences, but they'd lose the rest. Therefore I blame Malcolm.

I'm sure he's aware of how senate voting works and the history of senate voting, so I'd be surprised they didn't realise a more divided senate with more smaller parties was a likely outcome from a DD election.

Simey's doesn't listen very well, he didn't quite hear it correctly when someone said that an election was being held

0 votes for the Liberals, that's impressive.
