Someone commented after that (good reading) article to effect of 'talk about objective dangers' (!!) ... & I reckon that humorous comment sums it up for me.

I think I see you going there some time? Why else would you be following adventurous ice climbing articles unless you want to see them first hand at real grades instead of 'picked-out & cafe afterwards' affairs...

I've been putting more effort into bike racing this year (than 'adventure' climbing (whatever that means)) simply because it's easier to manage around work and family life. However, yes, being gored by a Grizzly does hold a certain appeal. Oh I meant to say Canadian mixed climbing.
However I don't know what the hell they mean by good coffee. Between Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal and Victoria Island I never did find a decent coffee on previous (non climbing) trips.
