Hi all,
I am wondering if you might be in a position to help.
Next month I am heading to Bolivia to lend a hand at a wildlife rescue park that works against animal trafficking, caring for various types of monkeys and big cats and promoting biodiversity. The animals at the park are the sad result of illegal trade, each with their own story - being kept as pets, traumatized at circuses, kept in undersized cages and having been inflicted with poachers' gunshots. As part of care and rehab, the big cats are walked using climbing rope.
If you are retiring static or dynamic rope of any width, or screwgate biners, they would be used to tether some keen individual to a puma for its walks. A truly awesome way to send off your old rope!

I am in Melbourne and will travel to you to pick up any gear you would be so kind to donate.
Please PM me if you can help.
Thanks very much.

Cool project. How long do these puma leashes need to be? I've got some trimmed lengths that are a few meters long. If you're happy being 10 feet or so from you're cat then they'd be good.

Hey Pete,
Mate, the place is pretty remote and supplies are scarce so if they weren't suitable for cats there would certainly be alternative uses for the ropes. PM sent.
Cheers
