Interested to hear if anyone has ever tried to obtain one of these from forestry Corp NSW, especially since introduction of new regulations jan 1 2013, and what their experience was. More interested in recreational applications, but if you have had a successful or unsuccessful commercial application, it would also be of interest.
Enquiring because of the newly introduced
ban on rockclimbing in the state forest area at Bulahdelah.

Have they started to enforce it?...strange they bring in such a regulation without any consultation?

Climbers visited in car park by police, and of course some of the people that rallied for it in the first place are likely to take photos etc if they found people climbing on state forest land. Potential for fine in excess of $2000.

Good to know police resources are being put to good use.

No mention of climbing. However you're not allowed to take photos of it.
