Hey Guys
I am trying to decide upon wall designs for a climbing gym in my old store room with the following measurements (L5.7m X W2.57m X H2.33m). I have looked at Metoluis how to build a climbing wall guide and several other websites but can't find any desgins that will develop my overall climbing ability.
Any comments or suggestions would b great thanks
Ryan

I think there's some discussion of various designs in the woodies thread.
Also, One Day Hero does a bit of gratis work as a woody design consultant . Just post your ideas up here and he'll get back to you.

Just over hanging and very small holds.

Not too small for however overhanging it is and how strong you are. From memory Eric Horst's guidelines for strength development was 2 to 10 seconds. If you can hold it for less than 2 seconds it's too short a time to stimulate adaption and more than 10 the muscle isn't working hard enough to trigger adaption.
