More likely from a helicopter.

Was filmed from a small radio controlled drone that was launched next to the crag. Ask Simey for the gruesome details.

"best slackliner in the world" slacklines between two trucks driving down a high way..approaching a tunnel.
Didn't seem to have been mentioned here.

My friend went and saw the new Cirque du Soleil show - and said they've now included climbing in it!
Seems like quite an impressive show now... people doing backflips on to holds, trapeezing dynos and doing handstands mid climb...

I seen that type of thing before. It was great. I really liked the little stalls they could do, and the big one armed dynos.
I'd go to climbing gyms if they had trampolines at the bottom

There was a similar concept at the last Nati frinj. Slightly different costume though ;-)

I love the fact the guy in cammo and beret creates the idea they had to call special services in to cut him free!

You mean he wasn't Special Forces?
:-(
It amazed me that when 'santa' first started getting his beard in the tube-style abseil device that he didn't address the problem then*, but instead tried to continue and lowered another 10 to 20 cm which well and truly jammed the device.
(*Footlock, take weight off tube enough to free entanglement in early stage).
I noted the rescuer had his own prusik!
~> Would've been better to have the abseil device rigged well clear of the beard to start with...
