Hi All,
Whilst I certainly don't want to encourage people to drink irresponsibly, ( after all, we will be serving alcohol responsibly), CliffCare will be running the bar at the Melbourne screening of Radical Reels on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd November. This means that all profits will go towards CliffCare and the work it undertakes. So whilst you are getting that warm fuzzy feeling from a little bevvy, you can feel extra warm and fuzzy knowing your slip to the dark side and the devils drink, is going to a good cause.
I am also hoping to have some of the CliffCare Raffle tickets available to purchase. What a night it will be! Adventure porn, alcohol and the opportunity to win prizes. Heavens....I need a drink after all that excitement.
Cheers, (and I mean that literally)
Tracey

No Andrew, you need to keep yours and pay for them :)
Stu, I will drop you a line giving you the details :)
Radical Reels Banff Film Festival 2012

Not sure if there are any tickets left but give it a try :)
I much preferred this in recent years rather than the 'normal' Banff film festival

I looked at this thread, and thought Murphey's law would possibly grant me a 'win'. Then I thought, yeah, just what I need, a gym thing!
~> Sorry, I am happy to support, but I am not interested in the gym thing!!
About the only prize that I am interested in would be
>Remote Equipment Repairs - Wash & reproofing of a breathable garment - Valued: $65 ...
What are the chances?
Heh, heh, heh.

Not an issue Rod, lots of people have bought the tickets and won prizes and not taken them up due to location be it the gym prizes or accommodations prizes etc. They're just happy to support. On a few occasions I have managed to swap some prizes between prizewinners, others have gifted them back. All have been really generous and not worried so much about the prize.
cheers,
Tracey

Just thinking Rod, if you are not interested in the Raffle, there is always the donation portal here for CliffCare. Goes towards the same work. http://www.givenow.com.au/cliffcare;jsessionid=C73E4D2F0ACA6BFF3FA0C2E2146AE149
I will be updating this page soon as well as a number of other fundraising initiatives. Maybe some kind of CliffCare membership/supporter idea. As with many not for profits, revenue gets tighter and tighter, grants are disappearing and donations are a vital way for the work to continue.
cheers,
Tracey

So if I win a gym thing. you are happy to buy it back? ... Or am I at the mercy of copping Chockstone abuse on a 'For Sale' thread?
Heh, heh, eheh?

Well the 'buy it back' from me kinda defeats the purpose of the fundraising...
But on a slow Chocky day when people are biting at the bit for a bit of a bite, yes, you could put it in the For Sale thread. Entertainment for the masses.
