Karl, that thing about the placenta sounds like an ancient pagan tradition. My 3 all like to climb at different levels. My 17 y old son, thinks he is so good, he worries when I want to lead climb a grade 10. I have a great relationship with him due to climbing. We swear and scream at each other, then laugh about it later. Great feeling having take away together after surviving another action packed day.

Thanks to all that have replied. Some great tips.
To answer some questions - my kids are 11 (girl) and 8 (boy). She is getting into it more over time. The boy is lazy if I let him. Moans the whole way there and then tells the world all week how great it was.
Any suggestions as we move into the tween and teen years?
