On ground that's 90% gr19 or less, on a route I'd done 100 times, with a big enough rack? Yep, I'd do that.

In terms of who might be able to give the record a shake, how about Lee Cossey and Leo Holding? Or what about Nico Favresse and Chuck Norris? They'd be pretty strong teams.

I was going to post that too, but I forgot ...

I loved the bit where Hans talks about Alex telling him to not to take various pieces of gear because he never falls there.

Would definitely be interesting to see a Potter / Honnold* run. The two best soloists of their generations going at it, obviously Hans is just too safe and carries / uses too much gear ;)

* Or as a non-climber friend calls them, the climbing base jumper and the checked shirt guy (from Alone on the Wall)

but Kirk fell on the 19th pitch and Spock held the fall remember ? so no onsight there
