Foreezea jolly interesting poster and all that stuff!
AlpineMinimalist group hug with simey and ODH, with commiserations that bourge & Hexy aren't around anymore to join in!
Where's the cellar-bration being held, now the NatiCafe is up for grabs?

Clintalphabet obviously thought better about introducing his three sisters, girlfriend and 'second mother' lady friend, to the 'Vics travel2Qld team to make his nightmares come true' crowd ...

Good move Clint, go eastward to Straddie after the abbing course, follow the dream (ifyou'refeelinglucky, wellareyou?), mate!

Why does this old pic come to mind?

(Hey useful, the names of the dames will cost you a trip report!)

Relax Clinton they were just joking!

Most things on this forum need to be read with a grain of salt. That is, people don't always mean what they say.

I reckon the grumbling about Mods on this site by modded ones was meant too!
Heh, heh, heh.

nah man at first i think most people thought the treverse was stupid now i think people actually do want to help. people have put forward 600 dollars to try and make this happen. mate most people just bag each other out cause it is fun and it is what mates do. if people are ever nice to you in life they probably don't like you.

CJ, I thought from miguels post that you had pulled out - if I am mistaken and you're a willing victim then there is no need for any hog tieing.

Dream team - how's the weekend of the 25/26 feb? I can't commit to anything until after I get back from hols in late december. That should give everyone time to mull over just wtf and why we are doing this - if there is a bit of a crew committed it should be fun. If everyone pikes out I will too and just cough up for the brissy locals to do the deed.

Ps. Tariadmar that was a really nice thing to say - thanks. You are one of the most awesome, fun and intelligent people I have ever come across.

Stay strong Clinton, don't give up on the dream. People here on Chocky love to have a dig. I've met, and climbed with stacks of people after meeting them here and as others have mentioned, take everything said with a grain of salt and feel free to have a dig too...

Feb 25/26 looks promising at this stage. Can't really say no to being part of the dream team. There is meant to be pretty good surf on Straddie isn't there? Might have to make that part of the game plan too.

Currently in Tassie. Will work on my tyrolean skills whilst down here.

Far out Reinhold / Clinton! You've got some of the best(known) climbers (and others) in the state offering to travel a couple of thousand k's to help you build your little fantasy tyrolean so that you don't get killed or injured, and one little joke about hog-tying you has you throwing a tantrum! This has become bigger than you now, sonny, so just say 'please' and 'thank-you' to all these helpful folk, and shut up and get in the haulbag.

Hey Clint,
Here is a pic for you to enjoy, of simeys favourite try&lean location.

... ~> as you can see, you are not likely going to fit into the yellow ballhaulbag that they may set up!

Hmm. Not a lot of redundancy for the mid-gap climber, evident in that pic either!

looks like everyone is ready. well i am. i did my abseiling at KP on saturday and it has been a rousing success. there where teething issues but i got over them.

now the next step. they ran out of time doing the assessment so ive got my rigging pass but i cant abseil yet because i dont have my certifcate.
now the next step. get the nesseray gear for the traverse line and do my abseiling.
more pictures to come.
