I've heard some say Dai is a T 1001 sent back in time by skynet to wreak havoc on the climbing world. Others reckon Natto is responsible for his ninja like ability;)

Hey Dave,

I believe James Kassay is working this finish and is pretty close!! Definitely the better finish and the longest line of the cave!!!!

Bah! My link will make the wheel look like piss! Do Krusty, reverse Stimulation, into Stuck South of the Border, reverse Desire then waltz up Sleepy Hollow into Cave Man, reverse Annagramma, smash out Cave Bitch, Dead Cant Dance and then finish up Caved Out.

Well maybe you could send your "ultimate cave link up" With NO kneebars and then write a detailed report on how it makes the Wheel look like piss....

I think you should do it one handed, Blake. I can't believe all these people have actually used BOTH hands. Nathan wouldn't use both hands. That'd be like all those soft Spandiards he trumped with his first kneebar free ascents over there.

Ill do it with no footsys either. It takes less brain power to campus and for a boulderer using brains expends more energy than crankin smoked canons

Just you watch out Blake, the way I'm climbing, I'll tick it before you! It's on!

Hey Dave,

No, no one has done The Wheel via the Whimmelfriedhof finish as far as I know. I was going to head out that way but in the heat of the moment I thought I'd do it the original finish, like the other guys. It's more direct finishing as for Rave Heart anyway and the moves are awesome (the moves are awesome either way!). That bread loaf you come onto in the roof is amazing. I think finishing via Whimmel would be cool too, I think to claim two different problems (original & variant finish) because of it, after climbing The Wheel via the original finish though would be taking the piss, considering the difficulty of the climbing before that being as hard as it is and that the two finishes are certainly not different difficulty wise at all - they are both about V4/5. I think to do the Wheel is to climb out from the start of Xtreme Cool, finishing via either exit and standing on top. But yeah, a nice way to do it for sure...Rad.

Oh, and I love your big puppet!!!

Yeah....I think I remember Klem saying that was the way he'd originally been going to do Cave Rave and melted off a couple of times out there and then got through a third time and just went straight up. And I think Fred was taking the piss when he gave Eve Reve a name of its own. Not a different problem at all really but I reckon it would feel pretty grand yarding up those big pockets to finish. Bet it felt just fine finishing the other way too though.

Thanks ... All I need now is a week or two of good weather between now and the frinj festival to learn how to make it work.
