Not sure, but I was less sure exactly what world peace meant so I chose world hunger instead...;)

Its actually a fascinating saga. I took a day or so to read the whole thread on Supertopo last month, the story of the climb itself is fascinating, and the controversy and continuing online trainwreck involving some of my childhood heroes is compelling in an awful way. I still admire some of the early Yosemite climbers for their climbing ability, but have lost just about any respect (and certainly all that misguided hero-worship stuff) for any of that mob.
I've put down $25 for the movie, as I'm keen to see it made and keen to see it.

I downloaded the film when it first came out... To be honest, I found it pretty boring and was very dissappointed.
Most of it is just people retelling the events of the original ascent in interview, and you NEVER actually see Ammon doing any aiding or falling on his repeat of the route. Most of the dialogue is after they finish each day, chatting on the portaledge, or the odd shot when he's clipped into a bolt talking about the sort of the aiding it encompasses.
Regards,
-Paul
