Its actually a fascinating saga. I took a day or so to read the whole thread on Supertopo last month, the story of the climb itself is fascinating, and the controversy and continuing online trainwreck involving some of my childhood heroes is compelling in an awful way. I still admire some of the early Yosemite climbers for their climbing ability, but have lost just about any respect (and certainly all that misguided hero-worship stuff) for any of that mob.
I've put down $25 for the movie, as I'm keen to see it made and keen to see it.
