What to do with 5 metres of choss

Hi all, I know you've all been wondering "where's Mulchy been lately", so the news is I'm now living in Honiara and have a v. nice full-time job which comes with house supplied. Out the back of the house is a five metre wall of choss (limestone - old coral reef). It's not completely chossy, just very breakable when the holds are small. So, short of getting out an ice axe and digging chunky holds into it - what can I do? I've thought about gluing in long bolts and bolting climbing wall holds to it - any other suggestions?

C'mon, you know it's gotta be done. Yep, thought about concrete, but I don't think it will be much better. Fishing - Honiara tends to be crap for fishing - you've gotta get out of town too far unless you own a boat (which a few friends do - so stay tuned ww&s - you'll be on the next plane over - there's everything right up to Marlin - if you like killing big creatures and not eating them). And yes, I'm getting desperate - until I suss out the limestone gorges around here there's nothing to climb except the back stairs - thank god for the gym at work!!

Aid it on really long bolts that have been filed down to sharp points. I once read an article by these guys in russia (or somewhere like that) where they climb frozen soil in such a manner

Just build a woody in the space.....but seriously I dont feel sorry at all for ya since you living in the tropics...also you been there a while now...why havent you got off ya arse and checked out the gorges?

Get a big hammer and a big chisel and make your own Kambah Rocks.

Been too busy stuffing around out in the Western Province plus 2 young 'uns puts the damper on things for a bit. I have a good mate here who has done plenty of climbing (brother of Anton Woiperis) who is keen to get out and about, so at least I have a belay slave!! bwah hah ha! Stay tuned - I'll get there - only just got all my climbing gear out of the boxes last weekend.

That was my other idea - I have a chunky cold chisel - and I've got to make more use of that aid hammer - it would be more fun though if wallwombat came over for the weekend, drank three slabs of beer and bashed away at it with me (ww&s can go fishing...)

Buy some plywood and build a woodie.
