Lightweight bivvy gear |

Does anyone have any ideas on the best gear to use for a lightweight overnight bivvy on a cliff.
I'm not interested in buying a commercial bivvy sack.
But I would like anyone's thoughts on ideas on other gear to get you through a spring night in the Blueys/summer night in Tasmania.
In the past I've used an emergency (orange plastic) bivvy sack, half a foam mat and foil emergency blanket combo and found it to be near to useless (and noisy, hell those foil things rustle).
Any help would be much appreciated. |
